Terms and Conditions

Last updated: CONFIRM: effective date

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the FrintHub mobile application and website and the print-on-demand services we provide in Malaysia. Please read them carefully. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

Draft

Note for FrintHub: items highlighted like CONFIRM: … are business or legal decisions that must be settled — and the whole document reviewed by a Malaysian legal adviser — before publishing. In particular, FrintHub does not yet have written refund, delivery-timeframe or warranty/reprint policies, so the wording for Cancellation & refunds and Delivery & self-collection is left for you to provide.

01Acceptance of these terms

FrintHub is a print-on-demand service operated in Malaysia by CONFIRM: registered company name (Company Registration No. CONFIRM: SSM registration number) ("FrintHub", "we", "us", "our"). These Terms form a binding agreement between you and FrintHub.

By downloading, accessing or using the FrintHub app or website, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

02User accounts

  • To place orders you need a FrintHub account, created with your email address, a password and your name. You may also add a phone number and other profile details.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information and to keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at info@frinthub.cloud if you suspect unauthorised use.
  • You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract under Malaysian law and at least CONFIRM: minimum age, e.g. 18 to hold an account.

03Product configuration & customisation

FrintHub lets you configure printed products — such as business cards, flyers, stickers, banners, apparel and merchandise — by choosing print options and a quantity tier, and by uploading your artwork. The options, quantities and per-piece tier prices shown in the app determine what you are ordering.

You are responsible for the choices you make when configuring a product. Please make sure the product, options, quantity and artwork you select are what you intend before you pay (see Checking your artwork & order).

04Your artwork & ownership

You keep all ownership of, and intellectual property rights in, the artwork, designs, images, logos and other files you upload ("Your Artwork"). Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Your Artwork to FrintHub.

You are responsible for keeping your own copies of Your Artwork. While we store the files you upload in order to fulfil your orders, we are not a file-backup service.

05Permission to process your artwork

So that we can produce your order, you grant FrintHub a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, copy, reproduce, adapt for print (for example, resizing or preparing files for production) and print Your Artwork, and to hand it to the parties involved in producing and delivering your order. This licence exists only for the purpose of providing the service to you and lasts only as long as needed for that purpose and to meet our legal obligations.

We do not use Your Artwork to promote FrintHub or for any purpose other than fulfilling your orders unless you give us separate permission. CONFIRM: if you want the right to showcase completed work as samples/portfolio, that permission must be added here

06Prohibited & infringing content

You confirm that you own Your Artwork or have all the rights, licences and permissions needed to print it. You must not upload or ask us to print content that:

  • infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property or personal rights;
  • is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or promotes violence or illegal activity;
  • is counterfeit, fraudulent, or misrepresents its origin; or
  • breaches any applicable Malaysian law.

For safety and technical reasons, the app also limits the file types and sizes you can upload (for example, executable and script files are not accepted, and uploads are subject to a file-size limit). We may refuse, cancel or remove any order or content that we reasonably believe breaches this section, and you are responsible for any loss arising from content you supply.

07Printing specifications & variations

Printing is a physical process. Even with careful production, some variation is normal, and you accept that reasonable variations do not make a product defective, including:

  • Colour: printed colours may differ from what you see on a screen (screens use different colour models and calibration), and slight colour shifts can occur between print runs and materials.
  • Material & finish: stock, texture, finish and substrate may vary slightly between batches and suppliers.
  • Size & cutting: small differences in trimming, folding and positioning within normal industry tolerances.

If you need exact colour or material matching, please arrange it with us before ordering. CONFIRM: if you want to state specific tolerances (e.g. cutting/colour tolerance percentages) or a colour-proofing process, provide them here

08Pricing & payments

The price for printing is calculated from the quantity tier and print options you choose, as shown in the app at the time you order. Prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR).

Consistent with our honest-pricing approach, delivery charges, taxes and any additional discounts are confirmed at quotation rather than shown as an automatically calculated figure in the app. We will confirm any such amounts with you CONFIRM: how and when delivery charges, taxes and discounts are confirmed to the customer (e.g. via chat/quotation before production).

Payment is made in the app through our third-party payment gateway, iPay88, at checkout. If a payment fails, you can retry payment. We begin producing your order after payment is confirmed.

CONFIRM: your tax status — whether FrintHub is SST-registered and issues tax invoices — as the current invoice/receipt documents are not issued as valid tax invoices

09Order confirmation

When you check out, we create a pending order and take you to payment. Your order is confirmed once your payment is received and the order status becomes "Paid"; at that point a receipt is issued and we schedule your order for production. An invoice is available once payment is due.

You can follow your order through its stages — Paid, In Production, Ready, and Completed — in the app, and you may confirm receipt once your order is ready or delivered.

10Cancellation & refunds

What the app does today: you can cancel an order yourself only while it is still awaiting payment (that is, before payment has been completed). Once an order has been paid and sent for production, it can no longer be cancelled by you in the app. If you cancel an unpaid order, any loyalty voucher you applied is returned to you.

Refunds are handled manually — the app does not process automatic refunds. Because printed products are produced to your specification, refund and cancellation-after-payment rights need to be set out clearly and in line with Malaysian consumer law.

CONFIRM — cancellation & refund policy (not defined in the product): whether a paid order can be cancelled and until what point (e.g. before production starts); whether/when refunds are given; any cancellation or restocking fees; how and when refunds are paid; and how defective or incorrect items are handled

11Delivery & self-collection

What the app does today: at checkout you choose either delivery to a saved address or self-collection from a FrintHub outlet you select. Delivery charges are confirmed at quotation (see Pricing & payments) rather than calculated in the app.

Delivery timeframes, production lead times, courier arrangements and collection details are not fixed by the app and need to be defined.

CONFIRM — delivery & collection policy (not defined in the product): production lead times and delivery timeframes; delivery areas and charges; courier/handover method; when risk of loss or damage passes to you; what happens for failed deliveries or wrong addresses; and the self-collection window, ID required, and how uncollected orders are handled

12Checking your artwork & order

You are responsible for reviewing and approving Your Artwork and all order details — including spelling, layout, images, colours, resolution, product, options, quantity and delivery choice — before you pay. We print your order based on the files and details you provide.

FrintHub does not proofread, edit or correct the content of Your Artwork, and we are not responsible for errors in what you supply (such as typos, low-resolution images or incorrect layouts). If you are unsure, contact us before ordering.

13Intellectual property

The FrintHub name, logo, app, website, designs, text and other materials we provide are owned by FrintHub or our licensors and are protected by law. Except for using the service as intended, you may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from them without our written permission. This section does not affect your ownership of Your Artwork (see Your artwork & ownership).

14Service availability

We work to keep FrintHub available, but the service is provided on an "as available" basis. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the service for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control, and we do not guarantee that the app or website will always be available or uninterrupted. Features may change over time.

15Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Malaysian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 where it applies.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, FrintHub is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business, goodwill or data, arising from your use of the service; and our total liability in connection with any order is limited to CONFIRM: liability cap — e.g. the amount paid for the order concerned — to be confirmed with legal counsel. We are not responsible for losses caused by content you supply or by matters outside our reasonable control.

16Suspension & termination

We may suspend, deactivate or restrict your account, or refuse or cancel an order, if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or to protect FrintHub, our customers or others. Where reasonable, we will tell you why.

You may stop using FrintHub at any time. If you would like your account closed, contact us at info@frinthub.cloud. Some information may be retained after closure as described in our Privacy Policy and as required by law.

17Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our service or the law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, may notify you through the app or by email. Your continued use of FrintHub after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

18Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and you agree that the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, subject to any consumer rights you have to bring proceedings elsewhere under Malaysian law. CONFIRM: preferred jurisdiction/venue and any dispute-resolution process (e.g. Tribunal for Consumer Claims, mediation or arbitration)
